YardDone

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 1, 2026

This Policy explains what information YardDone collects through its website and service pages, how we use it, and when we disclose it to others who help us provide yard-care services.

Information we collect

When you request or manage a YardDone service, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, service address, requested service, project details, measurements you provide, scheduling preferences, messages, and photos you upload.

When you use address search, the website may process the address you enter, location coordinates, and a Google Place ID. We may use these details with property-data services to help identify the property and prepare an estimate. Our website and hosting providers may also receive standard technical information such as browser, device, and server-log data needed to operate and protect the site.

If you pay through a third-party payment link, that payment provider processes your payment details. YardDone may receive transaction details such as the amount, payment method, and payment status, but the payment provider handles card entry and processing.

How we use information

We use information to review requests, prepare estimates and quotes, schedule and perform services, respond to questions, send service-related emails or reminders, manage recurring service, process or record payments, maintain business records, protect the site, and meet legal obligations.

We use uploaded photos and project notes to understand and review the work requested. We do not publish customer photos for marketing without asking you first.

When information is disclosed

YardDone does not sell customer personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only as needed to operate the service, including to providers assigned to perform your requested work and vendors that support our website, database and photo storage, address or property lookup, operational email and calendar workflows, and payment processing when you choose that method.

These vendors receive information needed for their role. They may process it through their own systems under their applicable terms and privacy practices. We do not authorize them to use YardDone customer information for their own advertising to you.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the safety or rights of customers or YardDone, or in connection with a business transfer, if one occurs.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to review and complete service requests, manage quotes and appointments, handle recurring service and customer questions, maintain business and payment records, resolve disputes, protect the business, and meet legal obligations. The time needed can vary depending on the type of record and whether a service or legal matter is still active.

You may ask us to delete information by emailing the address below. We will review the request and delete information where appropriate, subject to records we need to keep for an active service, legal requirements, accounting, security, or dispute resolution.

Your privacy choices and California residents

You may contact us to ask what information we have about you or to request a correction or deletion. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will handle requests under the privacy laws that apply to YardDone and your request.

YardDone does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that practice changes, we will update this Policy and provide any choices or notices required by applicable law.

Security, children, and updates

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No website, storage system, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

YardDone services are intended for adults arranging care for a property. The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices change. We will post the updated version here and revise its effective date.
